Web designing is the art & process of creating web sites for online information

Web designing is the art and process of creating a single Web page or entire Web sites and may involve both the aesthetics and the mechanics of a Web site's operation although primarily it focuses on the look and feel of the Web site - the design elements.

Web designing is the art and process of combining individual elements of design (lines, shape, texture, color, text) into a pleasing arrangement. Some of the aspects that may be included in Web designing are graphics and animation creation, color selection, font selection, navigation design, content creation, HTML/XML authoring, JavaScript programming, and ecommerce development. Web designing is a form of electronic publishing.

Designing a website is defined as the arrangement and creation of web pages that in turn make up a website. A web page consists of information for which the website is developed. A website is a collection of information about a particular topic or subject or company.

There are five areas that cover the major features of Web designing: 1. Visuals: This shows to the display layout used in a site. Generally the design is formed using HTML, CSS, or even Flash and may consist of graphic elements either as decoration or for navigation. The visual aspect of the site is the most obvious aspect of Web designing, but it is not the sole or most important aspect. 2. Content: This refers the form and organization of a site's content. This can range from the way text is written to how it is organized, presented, and structured using a markup technology such as HTML. 3. Technology: Technology in this context more commonly refers to the various interactive elements of a site; particularly those built using programming techniques. Such elements range from client-side scripting languages like JavaScript to server-side applications such as JavaScript programming, while the use of various core Web technologies such as HTML or CSS fall into this category. 4. Delivery: The speed and reliability of a site's delivery over the Internet or an internal corporate network are related to the server hardware/software used and to the network architecture employed. 5. Purpose: The basic purpose of website is transmitting information to an end user. Web design attempts to transmit information in a user friendly way. But there are a few extra extents of web designing. The web site that exists, often related to an economic issue, is arguably the most important part of Web designing. This element should be considered in all decisions involving the other areas.
